Statement of the Privacy of Customer Information
ASB respects the privacy expectations and rights of its customers regarding financial information and other related information, which the Bank has or gathers in the normal course of business.
ASB collects, retains, and uses information about individual customers only when we believe it would be useful (and allowed by law) in administering our business and to provide products, services, and other opportunities to customers. We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources.
1) Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
2) Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
3) Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
ASB does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.
ASB may disclose information we receive from you on applications or other forms and information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institution with which we have joint marketing agreements. ASB may also disclose information we receive from you on applications or other forms and information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others to our affiliates: Ackley Insurance Agency, Iowa River Insurance and Hometown Investment Center.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard nonpublic personal information.
Visitor's to the Ackley Bank's web site remain anonymous. We do not collect personal identifying information about site users, unless you choose to provide such information to us via e-mail. Visitor's may elect to provide us with personal information via e-mail. This information is used internally, as appropriate, to handle the sender's request and manage the bank's web site. It is not disseminated or sold to any other organization. Visitor's should, however, keep in mind e-mail is not necessarily secure against interception. If you do not agree with the use of the information, or are not comfortable with the level of privacy, cancel the e-mail before it is sent.
